To get an avatar click on "Profile" toward the right corner at the top of the page. Then go to the bottom of that page and it gives you the options...
Upload Avatar from your machine
Upload Avatar from a URL
and
Link to off-site Avatar
Choose the option that best suits what you want your avatar to be.
Avatar Restrictions
Your avatar must follow the Forum Guidelines
Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height...

Click on the "Add Image To Post" link under the text box and a pop-up should come up. To do this, you must have pop-up blocker off. Then there is a "Browse" button, click on it & click on the photo and add an image title if you wish to do so. Then hit upload and you've got a picture in your post!
Image Restrictions
The image must not go against the Forum Guidelines.
It must be a .gif, .jpg, .png, .bmp and must be 4 Mb or smaller.
